22 Things You Didn't Know About Me
I thought it would be a good idea to tell you guys a little bit about myself! Here’s a list of 22 things you might not know about me!
I am a true type 9 on enneagram. I love nothing more than to lay on the couch with my computer on my stomach and with a bowl of cookie dough within an arm’s reach. I always keep things inside me and then when my cup pours over, I explode and have a really hard time explaining how I feel because EVERYTHING is wrong. I always dread occasions where I need to be social with many people I don’t know too well, but end up thinking it was worth it afterwards. Where are my nines at?
I studied retail and service management in a small town called Kalmar on the east coast of Sweden.
I can spend HOURS squeezing pores in my face. I know this is SO bad but I just can’t help it. It’s just too much fun.
I don’t know how to dive. Never really liked water.
My worst job ever was at Victoria’s Secret. I lasted two months before I quit. I couldn’t stand being so fake-salesy and I hated talking on the intercom, because I could never hear what people said so that was just really awkward. 😂 I still have nightmares that I have to go back to work there. No joke.
Another recurring nightmare I have is that I’m working in a store and people keep coming in when it’s time for me to close. This happened to me when I worked in a store at the mall back i nSweden. It was 15 minutes past closing and people kept coming in to the store. This was 9 years ago and I still to this day have nightmares every now and then about being in this situation!
My favorite cleaning task is vacuuming. I’ve always loved vacuuming. I get some sort of weird satisfaction of seeing the dust and dirt being sucked up in the there. I guess it’s kind of the same thing as picking pores in my face - I just loooooveeeee seeing the dirt go away!
I could eat bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nothing better than a newly baked bread bun with a generous amount of European butter (very important), and Jarlsberg cheese. My mouth is wateriiiiing. 😛 Brb.
My best friend Tillan and I have been best friends since Kindergarten. Going on 24 years!!
I got a little scholarship in highschool in Graphic Design. I probably spent the money on a new jacket 🤷🏼♀️
I love tea, and I drink it with an absurd amount of whole milk. This is probably the hardest for me to stop doing when I’m trying to be dairy free!
I have two younger siblings. Jonathan is three years younger than me, and Ebba is 11 years younger!
I secretly really, really wish I could sing. I think it would have been so much fun! I especially think it would be fun to be able to sing harmonies. Hahaha.
When Austin and I started talking 5,5 years ago, I dreaded our facetime calls. I was SO uncomfortable speaking english!! I was so self conscious and always planned different lines I could say. And I would google to make sure my grammar was correct 😂 Now it’s become so natural to me and I couldn't care less if I say something wrong. But.. I still have Austin double check captions and texts sometimes, just to be sure my grammar is correct! Haha
I really wanted to name Ivy Dallas, but Austin was noooooot with me on that train. At all. But I guess having two family members named after Texas cities would be a little bit…. weird. Haha.
My family growing up are not Christians/believers but I am. I started going to church when I met my best friend in Kindergarten, and got baptized later when I was 11 I think.
We definitely want at least one more kiddo - but we really am so happy with the three of us right now! My uterus is noooooot aching for a second child yet. Probably because the baby stage with Ivy was so difficult. But, who knows when that changes 🤪
We used to travel/roadtrip in Europe every summer when I was little and I really want to do it with our family once Ivy is a little bit older. We drove through Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Austria down to Italy, Spain or France. These are the best memories!
I used to be really emo in my teenage years. Black clothes, checked vans, and a black star under my eye 😂 #kentare 🤪 My parents wouldn’t let me dye my hair black though… thank GOD.
Oh, I also had a period where I only listened to Metallica. I learned the lyrics to all songs and learned to play some of them on my guitar. Bless my 15-year-old heart.
One of my middle names is Anna, and I share it with my mom, my sister and we also named Ivy Anna as one of her middle names (also Lynn after Austin’s mother). In Sweden we celebrate “name days”, so each day there’s one or two names to “celebrate”. Anna is on December 9th so it’s a family tradition to celebrate with an “Anna-fika” on this day.
I love coke!!!
